Central Jakarta City Secretary's Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said the emission test aims to prevent air pollution and find out motor-vehicle emission.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency Head, Slamet Riyadi stated today's emission test was held for sub-agency, urban village, district official vehicles, and private vehicles owned by civil servants and PJLPs.
"The test was held one day from 8 AM to 2 PM," he stated.
According to him, vehicles that failed the test must be checked further to workshops appointed by Jakarta Environmental Agency.
"The appointed workshops have emission test equipment and are connected to the system. We are also ready to collaborate with any side to hold emission test," he added.
