500 MSMEs Traders Targeted to Participate Halal Certification Training

South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency holds technical training of Halal Certification 2025.

South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Parulian Tampubolon said the training aims to facilitate MSMEs traders getting halal product legality.

Halal Certification Training Attended by 30 Participants

"For South Jakarta, we have two sessions with total target of 500 participants this year," he said, Monday (4/28).

Parulian explained today's training was participated by 50 participants from sub-agency's fostered traders or other Regional Working Units' fostered Jakpreneur.

"It is hoped their products will meet the halal requirements. It means the must achieve the certificate to ensure the costumers," he explained.

He added that halal certification is also an effort to make Jakarta a success towards its fifth century and becoming a good global city.

"We want MSMEs traders in South Jakarta to sell halal products," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the participants, Hangesti (46), admitted the training helped her much in getting halal certificate.

"It's free. Hopefully after getting the certificate I will be able to make more revenue," she hoped.
