Galur Urban Village Head, Suci Asliyanti said the training was a collaboration with Lembaga Pengembangan Usaha (LP) UMKM Muhammadiyah and supported by Maybank Syariah CSR.

"They were trained about halal certification and the requirements how to get it," she said, Tuesday (2/25).

Not only getting training material, she added, the participants who are food and beverage sellers also received coaching of business management with support from Maybank Syariah.

It is hoped the participants will be able to develop their business after participating the training. So it will give impact on family welfare.

"Participants also have the opportunity to receive business financing support from Maybank Syariah," she continued.

Nikmah, resident of RT 11/06 Galur Urban Village, who runs nasi uduk culinary business, admitted very helped by this training. Previously, she did not understand how to process halal certification.

"Thanks for giving chance attending the training. It is hope my business can grow well," she hoped.
