DTKJ Proposes New Royaltrans Routes to Pramono

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung received an audience of Jakarta City Transportation Council (DTKJ) periods 2023-2026 at City Hall, Monday (4/28).

Seven routes were proposed such as Graha Raya Bintaro-Ciledug and Grand Wisata Bekasi, then Sumarrecon Bekasi to Halim Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train Station.
"Mostly developer people are in Bodetabek. They are private vehicle users. It becomes our target by adding Royaltrans routes," Hari said.
on the behalf of DTKJ, Haris also appreciated the launching of TransJabodetabek of Blok M-Alam Sutera route.
"We appreciate the governor for this movement to ease resident mobility," he added.
Moreover, DTKJ also proposed higher parking rates at corridors with public transportation and development of park and ride outside Jakarta area.
"It will become a good mechanism in transportation. Surely they can park their vehicle then continue the trip with public transportation," he continued.
DTKJ also encouraging the optimization of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) implementation considering that currently only 11 percent of violations are sent. In addition, creative budgeting for public transportation was also discussed.
DTKJ also proposed the issuance of a new Governor Regulation about the governance of Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in the transportation sector. It is aimed to support the program to expand the reach of public transportation to the Jabodetabek area.
"The governor also said how if Jaklingko or mikrotrans can be a feeder in Bodetabek areas," he said.
Responding about the inputs, Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo stated Governor Pramono welcomed the inputs. Detail follow up will be provided soon.
