JakLingko Indonesia Wins DTKJ Awards 2024

PT JakLingko Indonesia won an award for the Favorite Public Transportation Ticket Payment Application Category, at DTKJ Awards 2024 held at Grand Sahid Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday (9/19) night.

This privilege is only available in the JakLingko Application

PT JakLingko Indonesia Director, Ivan Tigana, appreciated the public support which chose the JakLingko Application as their favorite choice in using public transportation in Jakarta.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), thanks to the jury and the public who use public transportation, thus this year we were chosen to win an award at DTKJ Awards," he expressed, Saturday (9/21).

Commission B Gives Input to Improve JakLingko Services

He explained the JakLingko application has a special feature that other public transportation provider applications do not have, namely Integrated Tariffs.

He added the existence of the Integrated Tariff obtained by multimodal travel between three modes (MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, and Transjakarta) is what makes public transportation fares in Jakarta more affordable, even saving up to 40 percent of the regular fare.

"This privilege is only available in the JakLingko Application, which is a pioneer in integrating multi-mode public transportation payments (ticketing) including MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, and Transjakarta, including Commuter Line," he added.

Besides the Integration Tariff, his party also continues to make various innovations in the JakLingko Application. Such as the Mobility as a Service feature, namely the purchase of public transportation tickets that are integrated with online motorcycle taxi orders as a ride-hailing feeder to drop off and pick up passengers from home to the station or bus stop or vice versa as a First Mile-Last Mile connector.

This feature can be used without having to switch applications because the trip has been integrated into one ticket with public transportation (MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, and Commuter Line).

"JakLingko application is a pioneer in implementing MaaS in Indonesia because it has been implemented since March 2022," he asserted.

He added the purpose of implementing technology and innovations in the JakLingko Application is to support the journey of public transportation users, thereby improving the quality of public services.

"We invite the public to move from private vehicles to public transportation which is now increasingly comfortable, and to support the sustainability agenda (SDG's). Through the mandate given to us, together we develop Jakarta into a global city to be on par with other big cities in the world," he stated.
