Jakarta City Council Commission A together with Army Special Forces (Kopassus) discussed the formation of command center in order to improve detection of potential disturbances to public security and order.

Jakarta City Council Commission A Secretary, Mujiyono said the formation of command center becomes a priority, as stated by Kopassus Planning Assistant Colonel of Infantry Febi Ardianto. This formation aims to integrate information between Kopassus and the Jakarta Provincial Government.
"One of the components is CCTV. We discussed about command center integration since BPBD and Kominfo's command center is not yet integrated," Mujiyono said, Monday (4/28).

"This integration is important as for early detection, timeliness and accuracy of information. It includes to prevent brawls," he added.
Mujiyono continued that Kopassus command center is equipped with the ability to detect conversations on social media. It means public order and security disturbances can be quickly analyzed and anticipated.
Moreover, both sides also discussed a health service owned by the Kopassus. Mujiyono encourages Kopassus to improve the clinic services since they also serve Jakarta residents.
