City Government Fully Supports Jakarta E-Prix 2025Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) Head, Andri Yansyah conveyed that the Jakarta Provincial Government will provide full support for the JRF 2025 event.
The support includes route sterilization, security, and the involvement of Culture Agency to promote Jakarta's culture, as well as Environment (LH) Agency and Health Agency.
"We have been instructed by the Governor that every event, especially international-scale event, the Jakarta Provincial Government will provide full support for the needs of Klub Lari Anak Bangsa," he asserted at the Jakarta City Hall, on Tuesday (4/29).
He hopes the running event not only joined by national athletes, but also international athletes. He explained that JRF 2025 will feature four running categories, namely full marathon (42 km), half marathon (21 km), 10 km, 5 km, and family category.
"This event will be held on October 25 and 26. However, before the marathon takes place, we will also hold a Run Expo," he added.
He explained that Run Expo will involve both international and local sports brand, as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage sector.
President Director of KLAB, Dickie Widjaja, added that the Run Expo will be held at Istora Senayan and aims to attract 90,000 visitors during the event.
"Last year, we had around 110 participants. This year we hope for even more, and for the visitors at the expo we expect up to 90,000 visitors for those four days," he said.
He also targeted 30,000 runners, both national and international, to participate in the JRF 2025 running event. His team is also inviting the defending champions from last year's JRF to defend their titles.
