Jakarta Provincial Government ensures to fully support the implementation of Jakarta E-Prix 2025.

It was stated by Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung during the launching of Jakarta E-Prix 2025 at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (4/24).

Pramono also emphasized the event to be successfully organized in order to make it memorable for Formula E fans around the world.

"Jakarta Government is fully support the implementation of Formula E that will be held in June," he said.

Pramono reminded that Jakarta Provincial Government should provide convenience to tourists who will attend the Jakarta E-Prix 2025.

The success of organizing the Jakarta E-Prix 2025, he added, can support Jakarta to enter the top 50 global cities.

Pramono remains targeted Jakarta to become a world sports tourism destination. Jakarta is about to host various international sports events in 2025 including running.

"Hopefully Jakarta will become more attractive for anyone who comes to Jakarta to exercise. So we have to prepare and improve," he added.

Meanwhile, Co-Founder & Chief Championship Officer Formula E, Alberto Longo, stated Jakarta Provincial Government shows a strong commitment to green innovation in the world of motorsport. That is why the E-Prix is back to Jakarta. Jakarta's commitment shows seriousness in developing the motorsport ecosystem to a higher level.

"We miss Jakarta and Indonesia as a leading destination for sport diplomacy, international events, and cross-country collaboration. Thanks you for your support of the Jakarta E-Prix as a platform for international cooperation in the field of green technology and sport tourism," Alberto Longo stated.

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Director, Iwan Takwin thanked Jakarta Provincial Government in implementing Jakarta E-Prix. PT Jakpro is committed to ensure the event runs successfully.

"Jakpro is highly committed to make it successful," he said.

According to him, the third generation electric racing car Evolution will race in Jakarta E-Prix 2025. The car is claimed to be twice faster than Formula 1 car. This car is believed to attract more fans to come.

"This is one of the World Championships in Indonesia and Jakarta is the only one in Southeast Asia to hold this," he added.

Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI), as well as the Steering Committee of the Jakarta E-Prix, Ananda Mikola explained IMI's readiness as a regulator of this event. He appreciated for the trust given to Indonesia to host Formula E world championship.

"FIA assessed that Indonesia is very ready to design a world championship. Thanks to Mr. Governor. This is an achievement for all of us since IMI is finally get a world championship calendar," he admitted.
