City to Settle Land Acquisition for Flat & Green Open Space Construction

The East Jakarta Administration is about to construct low-cost flat (Rusunawa) and Green Open Space (RTH). Land inventorying process for city administration's and private's land is still ongoing.

“Likely, it will be constructed in East Jakarta concerning there are still vacant land in such area

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, said that his side will curb the land  which is illegally controlled by citizens. It also be applied for private's land. It is hoped the private has willingness to support this flat project.

Musyawardhana mentioned around 20 thousand units flat will be built this year with budget amounted to Rp 7 trillion.

“Likely, it will be constructed in East Jakarta concerning there are still vacant land in such area,” he said, Tuesday (6/23).

His side also urged residents who have large land to be acquired for flat and green open space construction. After appraisal team has calculated its price, it will be paid soon.

“Mr. Governor asked me to process it well. If it meets the requirement, the owner is urged to issue the statement saying that their land is ready to be acquired,” he explained.
