Jakarta City Council Commission E Member, Dina Masyusin supports the Jakarta Government's efforts to draft a Gubernatorial Regulation on the Advancement of Betawi Customs.

I fully support the existence of this Gubernatorial draft proposal

The draft regulation is an implementation of the policy to promote Betawi culture, as well as a derivative of the Special Region of Jakarta Law (UU DKJ).

"I fully support the existence of this Gubernatorial draft proposal," she expressed, Wednesday (5/7).

According to her, this regulation is important to preserve and promote Betawi culture, thus it becomes more recognized and proud, especially by the Betawi community itself.

She hoped that the Betawi people are becoming increasingly proud of their cultural heritage, which is an important part of Indonesia's diverse wealth.

"Especially to advance the existing Betawi culture and traditional society," he uttered.
