Munjirin Invites East Jakarta Residents to Actively Exercise

East Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, encourages residents to actively engage in sports as an effort to maintain their health.

According to him, one way to exercise is by doing aerobics together.

"This sport is important for health, such as group exercises like today that can enhance community relationships," he expressed, during the Healthy Heart Gymnastics Together event at Agro Wisata Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Saturday (5/10).

Munjirin Optimizes Physical and Non-Physical Development in East Jakarta

His presence at Agro Wisata Cilangkap to review the healthy heart exercise was his first activity visiting the community after being appointed as the Mayor of East Jakarta.

"I have just taken office as the mayor, so I will regularly tour the area for orientation. Hope today's exercise brings health and blessings to the participants," he explained.

One of the exercise participants, PKK Group RW 01 Chair, Cilangkap Urban Village, Marsih (55) expressed her happiness at being able to meet Munjirin in person.

"It is a pride and honor for us that he is here today. This is his first visit, and we hope he will visit Cilangkap often," she hoped.

According to her, healthy heart exercise is routinely held every Saturday morning with around 100 participants.

"Most participants are residents of Cilangkap, so they know each other," she explained.

As information, there is an opportunity to read and present the door prize for the participants.

Basides Munjirin, it was also attended by East Jakarta People's Welfare Section Head, Rohmad; Cipayung Sub-district Economy and Development Section Head, Eddy Sofyan Latief; Cipayung Sub-district Government Section Head, Farida; and other related officials.
