Munjirin Praises the Work of South Jakarta Satpol PP

South Jakarta Mayor Munjirin praised South Jakarta Satpol PP's work in providing a sense of security and comfort to the residents.

"...to make South Jakarta a city that is orderly, safe, and comfortable for all of its residents,"

Munjirin said that Satpol PP, as the enforcer of regional regulations in Jakarta, has been carrying out its duties in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and leadership directives.

"During Ramadan month, Eid al-Fitr, and after the Eid holiday, they have performed their duties well, ensuring the safety of South Jakarta," he said, while leading the South Jakarta Satpol PP assembly at Mayor’s Office courtyard on Wednesday (4/9).

Munjirin emphasized that this noble job of ensuring the safety and comfort of residents must be continued. Satpol PP personnel should also maintain unity and work together, from sub-district to city level.

"Let’s work together to make South Jakarta a city that is orderly, safe, and comfortable for all of its residents," he asserted.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Satpol PP Acting Head, Rahmat Efendi Lubis, mentioned that Satpol PP’s role in maintaining peace and public order in the community is also supported by good collaboration with the TNI, Police, and other parties.

"Thank God, we carry out all our activities in a humane manner, so South Jakarta remains conducive," he stated.

He explained that the assembly, attended by 650 personnel, also served as an opportunity for fellowship and building stronger bonds among South Jakarta Satpol PP personnel and the local government officials.

"Hopefully we will all work optimally and provide the best service to the community, especially South Jakartans," he stated.
