Pramono Launches Three Flagship Health Services for Residents

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, launched three flagship health programs for Jakarta residents at Tanah Tinggi Low-cost Rental Apartment (rusunawa) in Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/14).

Hopefully this can help the people of Jakarta

Those three health programs are Pasukan Putih (white force), JakCare, and JakAmbulans.

"We launched the Pasukan Putih program to provide maximum healthcare services in Jakarta. The second is Jakcare, which offers 24-hour free counseling, and the third is JakAmbulans," he expressed.

The Pasukan Putih health program is a proactive health service specifically aimed at the elderly and individuals with certain health conditions such as diabetes and stroke. In the future, the team will provide health services directly to the homes of those in need.

The JakCare program is a 24-hour counseling service designed to assist individuals experiencing mental health issues due to life's pressures. This service can be accessed via JAKI app or by calling 0800-1500-119 at no consultation cost.

Lastly, the JakAmbulans program provides 86 ambulance cars and 17 motorcycle ambulances to respond quickly to the emergency medical needs of Jakarta residents. Ambulance services can be accessed via the emergency numbers 112 or 119 ane via JAKI app.

"Hopefully this can help the people of Jakarta," he hoped.

Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) Head, Ani Ruspitawati explained the JakCare service is supported by a call center staffed by clinical psychologists to serve the residents 24 hours a day. This call center is connected to psychiatric hospitals and mental health services at community health centers and regional public hospitals.

"28 out of 44 community health centers already have psychological staff, as well as all 31 regional hospitals that provide mental health services," she explained.

Aside that, Jakcare health services are also intended for women and children who are victims of violence.

Meanwhile, Health Minister, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, appreciated the Jakarta Government's efforts in improving public health services. He emphasized the importance of health promotion and disease prevention.

"The important thing is residents know how to live healthily. Secondly, they conducts free health checks. That's called preventive," he closed.
