East Jakarta Social Sub-agency-PMI Distributes Aids for Cipinang Fire Survivors

The East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and PMI distributed assistances for fire survivors on Jalan Bekasi Timur Raya, RT 11/16, Cipinang, Pulogadung.

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency's Head Section of Social Rehabilitation, Deni Triyanto, said the assistance provided were seven in-kind (natura) and 34 clothing needs.

"The assistances given were already based on urban village's request," he said, Wednesday (5/14).

Deni explained the seven natura types were 22 five-kilogram bags of rice, 22 packs of cooking oil, 44 packs of biscuits, 66 cans of sardines, 22 packs of sweet soy sauce, 30 boxes of mineral water and 22 packs of goodie bags.

Then 12 boxes of adult diapers, six boxes of baby diapers, 12 women's panties, 12 bras, 12 men's panties, 10 koko shirts, 10 mukenas, 10 house dresses and 10 collared shirts.

Next, 10 songkok, 10 sarongs, 10 blankets, 10 training pants, 16 sanitary napkins, 10 prayer mats, 15 carbolic acid, 15 pairs of sandals, 15 toothbrushes and 15 shampoos.

Then 15 toothpastes, 15 bottles of liquid soap, 15 mats, 24 napkins, 15 scoops, 15 coconut brooms, 15 adult towels, 15 goodie bags, 15 broomsticks, 15 dustpans, 15 bathroom brushes, 15 water scoops and 15 mops.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta PMI's Public Relation and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian admitted his side also provided assistances for the survivors.

"We provide 100 packages of bread, 10 crates of mineral water, 22 folding mats, three school kit packages and 10 boxes of instant noodles," he admitted.
