Another Commission B Member, Dwi Rio Sambodo, hopes dismantling monorail poles can restore the beauty of the city. The traffic flow is impacted much by the poles especially during rush hour.

"All abandoned buildings that do not have economic value should be demolished. Other stakeholders must be involved in changing the new function," he stated.

Furthermore, Rio also highlighted the economic aspect. He suggested Jakarta Provincial Government could use part of the are to gain regional income.

"The demolition requires a lot of money. But at some point, it can increase regional revenue by installing advertising media to add the city beauty," he added.
