Head of RT 06/04, Gunung Urban Village, Sri Nengsih appreciated the South Jakarta Administration for quickly handling the inundation through local Water Resources Sub-agency.

The river dredging today was also attended by South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar together with his ranks.
"River dredging is run to overcome inundation in the area," he stated.
Anwar added that the inundation and flood handling will remain be optimized by dredging the macro and micro channels.
According to him, the dredging will also target other river's segments up to Senayan area.
"Hopefully this will overcome the inundation to ease resident's access," he added.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency Head, Santo explained 150 joint personnel of Blue and Orange Taskforce, and Environmental Sub-agency are deployed to dredge the river along 192 meters with 2,5 meters width and one meter depth.
"We also deploy two excavators to speed up the work. It is targeted to complete in three weeks," he explained.
He also reminds residents by not littering into the micro and macro channels.
"Surely the garbage will disrupt the water flow in the channels," he reminded.
