The progress of the new channel work on Jalan Bango III, RT 09/03, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta has touched 70 percent.

"The channel is built using river stone material to be sturdy and durable," expressed Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Yansori, Monday (5/26).
He explained the work involved nine personnel to build the channel along 140 meters with 100 centimeters high and 20 centimeters wide.

"This channel is indeed very important for stopping rainwater from flooding the access roads and residents' homes," he stated.
