Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno is optimisctic that the Chungcheongnam-do Jakarta Business Forum held at Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Monday (5/26), will tighten collaboration and provide benefit for both parties.

Rano hopes that the professional network built through strengthening collaboration between Jakarta and Chungcheongnam Province, South Korea, will not only provide benefits from a business perspective, but also empower society through the exchange of knowledge, experience and innovation.

"On behalf of the Jakarta Provincial Government, I would like to welcome the Chungcheongnam-do Jakarta Business Forum," Rano said, Monday (5/26).

The relationship between the two provinces, Rano added, has been established since the launching of the Chungcheongnam-do Trade Mission office in Indonesia in 2021. The Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Jakarta in February 2025 made the collaboration between the two provinces was further strengthened.

"Opening potential for collaboration, sharing ideas, and establishing partnerships can be run through this forum," Rano added.

Rano continued that Jakarta supports the investments of technology, infrastructure, and sustainable development. Then Chungcheongnam-do has shown a strong commitment in fostering a superior business ecosystem.

"The two provinces' synergy will encourage mutually beneficial and sustainable growth," Rano continued.
