Let's Enliven ‘Jakarta Kini Lebih Dekat’ Event at Kendal Tunnel Today!

The Jakarta Government is set to hold an event titled 'Jakarta Kini Lebih Dekat' at the Kendal Tunnel on Wednesday (5/28) at around 4 PM.

This initiative aims to enhance the quality of public services

It is aimed to mark the 100 days of work of Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung and his deputy, Rano Karno, serves as a platform to introduce the Jakarta Government's latest innovations, as well as entertainment for the community.

Some breakthroughs that will be introduced include new service features in JAKI app, the additional 100 new CCTV cameras spots to enhance security, and the launch of a new logo for the Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Kominfotik) as the new face of public communication in Jakarta.

JakAmbulance, Quick and Free Emergency Healthcare Service for Residents

Jakarta Kominfotik Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin said, the launch of this new feature is part of the Quick Wins program of Governor Pramono Anung and his deputy Rano Karno's 100 Days.

"This initiative aims to enhance the quality of public services that are more responsive, transparent, data-driven, and strengthen the city's security system," he expressed, Wednesday (5/27).

With the addition of CCTV spread across various strategic points, it is expected to accelerate responses to resident complaints and improve the accuracy of decision-making based on real conditions in the field.

"And strengthen the city's security system through broader and integrated visual monitoring," he expressed.

Besides the technological aspect, the active involvement of residents in this launch event is also an important element.

"We want to ensure Jakarta's transformation into a global city is not only through digital infrastructure but also through the active participation of its residents," he hoped.

He added by providing space for residents to understand, try out, and give direct feedback on the new JAKI features and the city monitoring system. Thus, it can encourage the creation of a collaborative culture between the government and the community.

"We want Jakarta to move forward as a smart city that is not only technologically modern but also humane, participatory, and sustainable," he added.

Not only showcasing innovations, this event is also packed with interesting entertainment such as performances by the band The Lantis, stand-up comedy with Yudha Brajamusti, Mega Salsabillah, and Afif Xavi, as well as acoustic performances ready to accompany visitors.

This event is open to the public and is expected to serve as a space for collaboration between the government and citizens in line with the spirit of Jakarta as a modern, safe, and inclusive city.
