Jakarta Transportation Agency ensures Car Free Day along Jalan Sudirman up to Jalan MH Thamrin will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo said the implementation of car free day has not changed, even though there was previously a cancellation due to other activities that required special traffic security.

"Car free day is held again on June 1, " he said, Thursday (5/29).

He added that that the Car Free Day operation remains the same from 6 AM to 10 AM.

The agency also reminds road users to avoid Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin during the Car Free Day and follow the traffic engineering instructions that have been prepared.

"We encourage the community to make Var Free Day a space for social interaction, sports activities, and education. We also have officers on standby to ensure the smoothness and safety during the activity," he stated.
