As many as eight Central Jakarta Water Resource's Blue Taskforce are deployed to dredge water channel on Jalan Kebon Pala 3 RT 04, 05, and 07/RW 13, Kebon Melati Urban Village, Tanah Abang.

Tanah Abang District's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the dredging is run to accommodate resident's aspiration since the area is often inundated during heavy rain.

It is hoped the channel will function optimally after being dredged to prevent inundation.

Bastian (53), local resident, appreciated the dredging run by the Water Resource Sub-agency ranks.
"Hopefully it will eliminate inundation for sure," he hoped.
