Expanded Transjabodetabek Route Highlights City’s Commitment to Reducing Traffic

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Deputy Chairperson, Rany Mauliani appreciated the launch of Transjakarta's new route, Bogor-Blok M, and the extension of Corridor 13. She believes this step will ease the mobility of residents in buffer areas who work in Jakarta and help alleviate traffic congestion.

Rany praised the collaboration between the Jakarta Government and regional governments in Bodetabek area for producing integrated public transportation policies that benefit the public.

"If more people use public transportation, Insya Allah, our dream to reduce or even eliminate congestion can be achieved," she expressed.
According to her, traffic congestion remains one of Jakarta's major issues. She fully supports the policy of using public transportation every Wednesday, as stipulated in Governor Instruction No. 6/2025.
"I also support the Wednesday ride public transport program. I've tried it myself and thank God it's comfortable. Hopefully, it will continue to be maintained," she mentioned.
She also called on all public trans
port users to maintain cleanliness and comfort in public facilities for the collective good.Furthermore, Rany stated that the launch of the new route is one of Jakarta's commitment to addressing congestion and improving transportation services.
"I appreciate today's new route launch, as well as previous routes, which show that Jakarta cares not only about its residents, but also those in surrounding areas," she said
