We are studying it first
"We are studying it first," he explained, at Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Kav 50, South Jakarta, Wednesday (6/11).
He asserted that his team was currently focused on opening and revitalizing several new destinations in the capital, such as Pasar Baru.
Council Awaits Study of Car Free Night Implementation Plan"But, I want to open some new places in Jakarta, we just had a special meeting to open Pasar Baru," he added.
The plan to open the Pasar Baru follows the success of the revitalization of the Block M area, which is now increasingly visited by the public. Moreover, public enthusiasm for this revitalization is very high, with many unique proposals coming in through its social media.
"Because in Blok M, it has started to get busy now, and many have been asking about this on my Instagram, TikTok, and X, for routes like Bandung-Blok M, Surabaya-Blok M, Jogja-Blok M, and even Madinah-Blok M," he explained.
According to him, those proposals were jokes that lead to positive responses and public enthusiasm towards the government's efforts in developing new destinations in Jakarta.
"This is part of something that is actually a joke. But, I think it shows that we are getting an incredible public response," he closed.
