As reported earlier, Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno explained that Car Free Night will be held every Saturday night starting from 10 PM with additional street lights. This policy aims to increase the health and happiness elements of Jakarta residents.
The Car Free Night plan is being discussed and will be evaluated after the Jakarta's anniversary celebration on June 22, 2025. Later on, public vehicles such as Transjakarta and ambulances are still allowed to pass the activity.
