Participants were also invited to get the opportunity to make batik with guidance from facilitators, starting from the canting process to simple coloring.
"This activity provides direct experience while encouraging appreciation for the process and values ​​contained in each piece of batik cloth," he added.
According to him, this workshop reaffirmed the commitment of his ranks to make literacy an inclusive movement that touches various aspects of life, including cultural heritage.
"The Betawi Batik Workshop is a form of library program innovation that not only builds skills, but also strengthens the identity and pride of Jakarta residents in their own city's culture," he stated.
