Commission A Discusses City's Financial Performance in 2024 P2APBD Meeting

Jakarta City Council's Commission A held a working meeting to discuss the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) about Accountability for the Implementation of the 2024 Fiscal Year APBD (P2APBD).

Jakarta City Council's Commission A Secretary, Mujiyono, the meeting focused on discussing the financial performance of the Jakarta Provincial Government, especially about the level of budget absorption.

"Everything is explained in the meeting related with the budget," he said, Tuesday (6/17).

He added that the meeting also discussed various topics related to public services and community aspirations conveyed through council members.

Mujiyono also supports Jakarta Provincial Government for completing the echelon II positions. All positions are definitive.

"The next targets are echelon III and IV, then continued to class level including heads of urban village and district," he added.

He also emphasized that the number of State Civil Apparatus who retire is not optimal with the number of employees recruited each year. According to him, this condition has an impact on a number of positions in the Jakarta Provincial Government not being filled by definitive officials.

Mujiyono hopes that the existence of Government Employees with Work Agreements (P3K) can support the smooth running of government. Then ASN who meet the requirements are also expected to be able to fill positions according to applicable provisions.

"CPNS recruitment, including the quota, the authority is in central government," he stated.
