Commission C: Optimization of APBD Usage Must Align with Governor's Policy Directions

Jakarta City Council Commission C Vice Chairman, Sutikno urged the Jakarta Government to optimize budget usage following the directives and vision of Governor Pramono Anung and its deputy Rano Karno.

Make sure this regional budget allocation is not misdirected

"Make sure this city budget (APBD) allocation is not misdirected and aligns with the Governor's expectations," he expressed, in the meeting discussing the Draft Bylaw on Accountability for the Implementation of the Regional Budget (P2APBD) for the Fiscal Year 2024, Wednesday (6/18).

According to him, his party hoped that all the projects that budgeted could yield good quality and standards. He also emphasized the importance of a transparent and accountable bidding process at the Jakarta Goods/Services Procurement Agency (BPPBJ).

Commission C Supports City's Efforts to Boost Regional Revenue

"In the bidding process, the winning contractor or company must be clarified to ensure they are truly credible and responsible. We must not let the city budget become ineffective," he explained.

So, he would optimize his supervisory function as a council member to ensure that the budget is used for the benefit of Jakarta people.
