Residents Hope Formula E Will Promote Growth of Eco-Friendly Vehicles

The Jakarta E-Prix 2025 held at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol is once again drawing public attention.

The environment becomes less polluted

One of the spectators is Fergia (23), a resident of Jakarta, who admitted to having watched this electric car racing event several times. She is interested in Formula E, as this car racing does not produce noise.

"I've watched it before. I'm interested because it's electricity and more environmentally friendly," she expressed, at JIEC Ancol, Saturday (6/21).

She then mentioned electric vehicles in Jakarta. According to her, the presence of electric vehicles helps reduce air pollution, which has been one of the problems in the capital.

Despite she does not have a favorite team in Formula E, she enjoys the racing event as an exciting occasion. She even arrived at the circuit since 6 AM to liven up the event.

Similar enthusiasm was expressed by Aca (16), a resident of Penjaringan, who was watching the E-Prix for the first time. She admitted to being excited and curious about the car racing.

She even understands the advantages of Formula E which uses electric power.

"Race cars here are free from air pollution, noise, and are also environmentally friendly. So Jakarta will be cleaner," she explained.

She hoped this event could encourage the growth of electric vehicles that contribute to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly environment.

"This is nice. The environment becomes less polluted. The sky looks beautiful, it becomes bright," she stated.
