Rano Opens FEI CSIs International Jumping Competition

Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno, has officially launched the FEI CSIs International Jumping Competition-Equinara Pulomas Open 2025.

The equestrian competition to win the Jakarta Governor's Cup is held at Equinara Horse Sports, Jakarta International Equestrian Park Pulomas (JIEPP), Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, Sunday (6/22).

"Since there is a target as a global city that we must achieve, hopefully this championship can be expanded," Rano said.

He added that equestrian sports are one of the popular sports in developed countries.

Therefore, Rano hopes this competition can encourage tourism and economic sectors growth in Jakarta.

"It means we will support all sport events," he added.

The great potential of equestrian athletes in Jakarta has surprised Rano much.

He then encouraged to provide more championships to produce high-achieving athletes to fly Indonesia's name as high as possible in the international arena.

"This championship can produce new athletes. As mentioned earlier, there will be an event in Bahrain and Thailand. So this is a warm-up event before competing at a higher level," Rano stated.
