BPJS Kesehatan continues to provide easy services for Jakarta residents to improve the National Health Insurance (JKN) service quality.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Region IV, Elsa Novelia explained that Jakarta has now achieved Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

Elsa added that JKN participants need to show their NIK to get health service at health facility that collaborate with BPJS Kesehatan. Or it can be done through KIS Digital on Mobile JKN application.
"BPJS Kesehatan participants no longer need to queue at health facilities to get services," she added.
Elsa explained the service begins when the sick JKN participants must seek treatment at the Primary Health Facility or FKTP first. If the participants must be referred to FKTRL or to hospital due to medical indications, the referral must be in accordance with the medical indications of the Patient's Responsible Doctor (DPJP).
"Participants can go directly to the Emergency Installation at the hospital for an emergency condition. Patient then can be served by BPJS Kesehatan by using JKN if the DPJP determines that the patient's condition meets the emergency criteria," she explained.
