Most Jakarta residents express satisfaction with the performance of the Jakarta Government under the leadership of Governor Pramono Anung and his deputy Rano Karno.
Respondents assessed they (Pramono Anung and Rano Karno) are capable of understanding the root problems of Jakarta
This is based on the latest survey results released by the Ethical Politics research institute, coinciding with the 100-day work milestone and Jakarta's 498th anniversary.
This survey titled "Testing Public Cognition and Satisfaction towards 40 Quick Wins of Jakarta Governor" was conducted from May 19 to 26, 2025, involving 1,280 respondents from all over Jakarta. The respondents were selected using a stratified random sampling method with a 95 percent confidence level and a margin of error of 2.78 percent.
Pramono Commitment Prioritizing Real WorkEthical Politics Executive Director, Hasyibulloh Mulyawan, explained the overall public satisfaction with the Jakarta Government's performance reaches 77.73 percent. As for those who are dissatisfied amount to 22.27 percent.
"Respondents assessed they (Pramono Anung and Rano Karno) are capable of understanding the root problems of Jakarta, effectively absorbing public aspirations, and working calmly but effectively in the field," he expressed, in his written statement, Wednesday (6/25).
In detail, public satisfaction with the ability to absorb aspirations reaches 78.1 percent, while 76.4 percent express satisfaction with the commitment to fulfill campaign promises and implement contextual policies.
Nevertheless, the transparency aspect of the budget remains a concern, with a satisfaction level of 67.89 percent.
The survey also examined how well the community knows (cognition) and evaluates (satisfaction) the 40 Quick Wins programs initiated by the Jakarta Government. The results show that several programs, such as Smart Jakarta Card (KJP), Superior Jakarta Student Card (KJMU), diploma amnesty, and Jabodetabek transportation integration, have high levels of cognition and satisfaction.
However, there are still some programs that are not widely known or whose impacts have not been fully felt, such as the Jakarta Collaboration Fund, the development of mixed-use development, and the planned construction of the Cakung International Regional Hospital, which are still in the refinement stage.
Special Staff to Jakarta Governor, Cyril Raoul Hakim, affectionately known as Chico Hakim, praised the high public satisfaction survey results regarding Governor Pramono's performance during his first 100 days in office.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), the level of public satisfaction can be said to be very high. The 77 percent figure, in our opinion, is very high," he explained.
He also mentioned that the Research and Development Agency (Litbang) of Kompas recently released a similar survey, which showed that the public's satisfaction with Pramono reached 64.5 percent.
"We're grateful for these various survey results. For instance, the survey from Litbang Kompas also shows public satisfaction figures that are not much different," he asserted.
Nevertheless, they did not want to be complacent with those achievements. He stated, there would be evaluations, especially for unoptimal programs.
"Indeed, there are still shortcomings, and perhaps many people believe that three and a half months is not enough to resolve all of Jakarta's issues," he stated.
