Transjabodetabek Route Expansion Expected to Reduce Vehicle Volume

"The routes now connect Tangerang, Bogor, and Depok. So we need to also evaluate this, especially regarding the public enthusiasm," he said, Monday (6/30).

Two New Transjabodetabek Routes to Launch Soon

Wahyu hopes that the impact of the expansion of Transjabodetabek services will be able to reduce vehicle volume and traffic flow in Jakarta.

He also emphasized the importance of expanding transportation service connectivity to densely populated areas in Jakarta. According to him, in order to residents can more easily use public transportation, access from alleys to the main Transjakarta routes must be made.

"We connect Jakarta with buffer areas, but we should not forget to give access for alleys in Jakarta also," he added.
