Go Get West Jakarta Dekranasda Fostered Products at Puri Indah Mall!

The lively bazaar displays products from the West Jakarta Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) in the 2025 Jakarta Great Sale Festival event at Puri Indah Mall, is officially opened.

The bazaar which will take place on July 3-6, 2025, was officially opened by the Deputy Chairwoman of Jakarta Dekranasda, Dewi Rano, accompanied by the Daily Chairwoman of Jakarta Dekranasda, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo; West Jakarta Chairwoman, Lisniawati Uus; and Deputy Mayor of West Jakarta, Yuli Hartono.

The opening ceremony was enlivened by a catwalk by the urban village heads in West Jakarta and their wives wearing Betawi batik clothes.

Chairwoman of West Jakarta Dekranasda, Lisniawati Uus said this festival is also part of an effort to encourage the growth of the creative economy, especially in the handicraft and fashion sectors.

She added that this event involves 32 entrepreneurs fostered by West Jakarta Dekranasda and had joined as members of Jakarta Entrepreneur (Jakpreneur).

"There are 17 fashion and 15 craft participants," she said.

Lisniawati explained the event will also be enlivened with various interesting activities such as accessory making training, product photography training, entertainment, and so on.

"I appreciate the collaboration of West Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency, APPBI, related Regional Working Units, West Jakarta HIPMI, and other stakeholders through Binus University Scale Up BINUS program," she explained.

Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor of West Jakarta, Yuli Hartono said this event is held as part of Jakarta's 498th Anniversary.

She wants this event to be a reminder that as a modern and inclusive city, Jakarta must also continue to promote the local culture and the creative economy potential of its residents.

"This event is a real synergy between the government, business world, and education world to encourage the entrepreneur growth and strengthen the local products promotion in modern shopping centers," she added.

Yuli hopes that the public will know and love local products, and entrepreneur will be motivated to improve the product quality to compete in a wider market.
