Pramono Asks for Onrust Island Tourism Potential to Be Optimized

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung appealed Jakarta Cultural Agency to maximize tourism potential of Onrust Island in Seribu Islands.

"I appeal the agency to prepare the visualization well," Pramono said, Friday (7/4).

Pramono appealed that tourism development on Onrust Island be optimized by providing better facilities and presenting information in a more interesting way. He emphasized the need for modernization in presenting information and shifting from manual to visual explanations.

"If there is no budget, then it must be prepared. It aims to attract visitors. Do not use manual presentation," he added.

Onrust Island has a long history and its own attractiveness for tourists, including foreigners. In addition, this island also has excellent water advantages, making it a strategic location since the VOC era.

"I appeal the Cultural and Tourism Agency Heads to prioritize the improvement," he stated.
