45 Personnel Deployed for Post-Flood Response in Pela Mampang

A total of 45 personnel from orange troops and blue troops were deployed to carry out post-flood cleanup in several locations in Pela Mampang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta.

"This morning, the water has receded,"

Pela Mampang Urban Village Secretary, Shogy, explained that flooding hit 13 RTs since Sunday afternoon due to heavy rainfall and overflowing Krukut River, with water levels ranging from 30 to 150 centimeters.

"This morning, the water has receded. We immediately began post-flood cleanup to remove leftover mud and debris," he said on Monday (7/7).

Shogy mentioned that personnel were focused on cleaning areas on Jalan Bank, RW 07; Jalan Canadianti, RW 08; Kompleks Polri Pondok Karya, RW 04; Jalan Pondok Jaya, RW 06; and residential areas in RW 05 and 11.

"Thanks to the clear weather and the receding water level of the Krukut River, the floodwaters subsided quickly. We've ensured that PPSU personnel are on-site to assist residents until everything is fully taken care of," he stated.

Meanwhile, a Pela Mampang resident named Rahmat expressed appreciation and gratitude to the local government for their continuous support since the previous day.

"The response was quick, and all residents were well taken care of," he said.
