The inundation caused by extreme weather in Duren Tiga Urban Village, Pancoran District, South Jakarta has receded fully at 2 PM.

Duren Tiga Urban Village Head, Mansyur Sabban, said the water inundated road and residential at RT 09/01 by 100 cm.

"The inundation occurred due to the overflow of Mampang River on Sunday and Monday," he said, Tuesday (7/8).

He added that PPSU personnel were deployed to accelerate the post-flood handling by ensuring no waste in the water channel.

"Hopefully there will be no more rain today. But we remain standby to assist the residents," he added.

During the inundation, he continued, PPSU personnel also assisted the evacuation and mobility by using rubber boat.

"A wall broke due to heavy water flow. Hopefully it can be repaired fully by South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency immediately," he hoped.

Meanwhile, one of the residents, Ayu, appreciated the quick handling run by the personnel.

"They assisted us well by using rubber boat," she admitted.
