The Cilincing Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Implementation Unit, North Jakarta is revitalizing the micro channels on Jalan Marunda Baru IV, RT 09/06, Marunda Urban Village.

"Revitalization includes widening and installing manhole covers using plates measuring 114 meters long," expressed Cilincing SDA Executing Unit Field Coordinator, Nandi Yantoro, Tuesday (7/15).
He explained, the previous channel was only 25 centimeters wide, then widened to 40 centimeters and 60 centimeters deep.

"We're also dredging the mud down to the bottom layer, then breaking the retaining wall and installing formwork," he continued.
It has been ongoing since July 7, 2025, and the progress is 41 percent. It is targeted to be completed in the upcoming August 2025.
"Hopefully, what we do can prevent flooding during heavy rain," he hoped.
The work above received appreciation from one of the locals, Suhaedi (44).
"Water often floods the streets during heavy rain, especially since the channels are covered with plates to prevent people from throwing trash there. Thank you for following up," he said l.
