Rano Tinjau Pelaksanaan MPLS di Dua Sekolah di Jaksel

Rano Visits Two Schools in South Jakarta for Student Orientation Period

Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno visited Al-Ikhlas Islamic Elementary, Middle, and High School on Jalan Cipete III, Cilandak, and SMAN 6 on Jalan Mahakam, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Tuesday (7/15).

Today, I intentionally visited several schools

His visit to these two schools aimed to monitor the orientation period (MPLS) 2025 in Jakarta.

"Today, I intentionally visited several schools. But, not all schools because I have other schedules," he expressed.

288 New SMPN 129 Students Begin School Orientation

He assessed, MPLS is very important for students who are new to school. Besides introducing the new environment, it also helps them get accustomed to the education system at their level.

By doing so, students would get to know their classmates, senior students, teachers, and the school community. Hopefully, this activity would run smoothly and effectively.

Thus far, the reports received regarding MPLS across all schools in Jakarta were still proceeding under the proper procedures. Hopefully, the activities remaining in the implementation days would no longer contain elements of bullying, physical, or mental violence.

"Hope everything runs smoothly, because the main point is to get to know the school environment itself," he hoped.
