Council Fractions Deliver General View on the Draft Regional Regulation on the 2025 Regional Budget Amendments

Jakarta City Council held a plenary meeting of factions general view on the Draft Regional Regulation for the 2025 Regional Budget Amendments, as well as the Governor's response to this view.

The meeting was led by Jakarta City Council Deputy Chairwoman, Ima Mahdiah.

In its view, the Nasdem Faction conveyed employment issues, such as overlapping job training, the low effectiveness of Job Fairs, and the digital divide.

The PAN faction emphasized the importance of public participation in budgeting and oversight, as well as the use of technology for transparency.

The Democratic–Perindo faction requested that Transjakarta subsidies to be managed fairly and efficiently.

Meanwhile, the PSI faction focused on the reduction in the budget for Supplementary Food Provision (PMT) for toddlers.

Then, the PDI Perjuangan faction pushed for revenue optimization and spending priorities for basic service sectors such as education, health, flooding, and MSMEs.

The Gerindra faction emphasized the importance of budget transparency, accommodating recess aspirations, and providing regular job fairs.

The PKS faction requested an increase in Operational Assistance for Places of Worship (BOTI), improvements to education and health facilities, as well as greater attention to community cadres and the realization of grant funds.

The PKB faction urged the Jakarta Provincial Government to immediately address issues of extreme poverty, air pollution, the effectiveness of MSME spending, the digitalization of public services, and the supervision of Regional Capital Participation (PMD).

Meanwhile, the Golkar faction is pushing for strengthening nutrition programs, integrating Posyandu (Integrated Health Post), Community Health Center (Puskesmas), and Early Childhood Education (PAUD) services, as well as revitalizing basic health services.
