As many as 40 Jakpreneurs in Kelapa Gading District attended the culinary training at RPTRA Kelapa Nias III, Jalan Kelapa Nias, RT 08/14, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading District.
Collaborative Food Training Held in South Jakarta
North Jakarta Sub-agency of Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Head, Vicky Suryawan Jaya said this training is an annual routine agenda to improve the quality of business actors by providing knowledge and skills.
"The participants are MSEs fostered by the sub-agency," he said, Friday (7/25).
Kelapa Gading District's PPKUKM Unit Head, Agung Nugraha stated the material provided in this culinary training includes making snacks, heavy meals and drinks.
"They were divided into four groups, then directly practiced the menu given by the chef, such as making siomay, batagor, dim sum, risol mayo, pudding, and jelly drinks," he stated.
He explained that after the training, participants would be provided with cooking equipment such as a vacuum sealer, mixer, and chopper.
Agung hopes this assistance will further motivate the participants to improve their businesses.
"Hopefully this training will be able to gain their skill and business," he hoped.
Meanwhile, one of the participants, Indira (35), admitted she was enthusiast to participate the training. The menu provided is very varied and is liked by many people.
"Currently, I only sell from home. Hopefully, with the knowledge I've gained, my business can grow and progress further," she admitted.
