Barito Traders Temporarily Relocated to Kiosks of Perumda Pasar Jaya

South Jakarta City Administration ensures the traders on Jalan Barito, Kramat Pela Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru District will be relocated to temporary location owned by Perumda Pasar Jaya.

We will assist everything

South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said the relocation will be run on August 3, 2025.

"We will assist everything including vehicles for transportation," he said, Monday (7/28).

He added that the government has issued policies for fruit, culinary, animal, and animal feed traders to choose the location they want.

"It needs three up to six months construction. They can choose whether to stay in South Jakarta or other areas. We want their economy to continue running," he added.

Jakarta City Council's Commission D Chairwoman, Yuke Yurike said government through PPKUKM Agency and Perumda Pasar Jaya have cooperated to make their kiosks as the temporary locations.

"Now they are collecting data of the traders before being moved," she said.

Yuke assessed that the South Jakarta City Government had provided the best solution to the traders, starting from conducting outreach to finding a new location.
