The folk market held by Central Jakarta Administration was flocked by local residents of Kampung Bali. Since the food staple price increases during Ramadhan, the residents bought up the 1,000 packages sold during the event.

Hundreds of residents already lining up since morning. Each package which sold Rp 25 thousand containing of 2kg of rice, 1kg sugar, 1 liter cooking oil, and three packs indomie. Normally, the package is sold Rp 50 thousand.
Herman, Kampung Bali Urban Village Head acknowledged as folk market was opened at 9 AM there were 500 residents already lining up. “Our target is poor resident. They were so enthusiast," he said Wednesday (7/1).
