Kampung Duri Folk Market Will Open Soon

The construction is still in finishing process so far. The kiosks and stalls are predicted can already be placed prior to Eid ul Fitr

The construction of Kampung Duri Folk Market which located on Jalan Duri Raya, Duri Selatan Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta, is reportedly almost done and targeted to operate prior to Eid ul Fitr.

"The construction is still in finishing process so far. The kiosks and stalls are predicted can already be placed prior to Eid ul Fitr," told General Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Djangga Lubis, Thursday (6/11).

East Jakarta to Open the Folk Market

On a 704 square-meters wide land, Lubis describes, around 30 kiosks and 20 stalls have been built. Besides that, the market also equipped with management office, public toilet, mosque, and parking lot.

His side will open raffling phase for the old and new peddlers in the near future. After that, all peddlers would be given a deadline approximately one week to tidy up their kiosks.

Head of Kampung Duri Folk Market, Sri Erawati added until today, the number of peddlers is 34 people from 23 kiosks and 11 stalls. They obligated to undergo the raffling phase to get the kiosk.
