City Council's Budget Committee Discusses the 2026 Draft KUA-PPAS

Jakarta City Council's Budget Committee held a meeting to discuss the Draft General Policy of the Regional Budget and Temporary Budget Priorities and Ceilings (KUA-PPAS) for the 2026 Fiscal Year, Monday (8/4).

In addition to listening to explanations from the executive, Budget Committee also began formulating the direction of next year's regional budget policy.

Jakarta Regional Secretary, Marullah Matali explained the 2026 draft City Budget posture in the KUA-PPAS reached Rp 94.85 trillion.

"It is Rp 2.98 trillion higher compared to 2025 Amendment of City Budget by Rp 91.86 trillion," he said.

Marullah detailed that regional revenue is projected at Rp 85.27 trillion, while regional spending will reach Rp 87.29 trillion, or Rp 1.31 trillion higher compared to the previous year's Rp 85.97 trillion.

On the financing side, financing receipts increased from Rp 7.40 trillion to Rp 9.57 trillion, an increase of Rp 2.16 trillion. Meanwhile, financing expenditures also increased from Rp 5.88 trillion to Rp 7.55 trillion, an increase of Rp 1.67 trillion.

"Financing receipts are planned at Rp 9.57 trillion and financing expenditures at Rp 7.55 trillion," Marullah stated.
