City Council Approves 2026 City Budget Worth Rp 95 Trillion

Jakarta City Council's House Budget Committee (Banggar), together with executives, held a meeting to report the consultation results with the commission to gather input in the discussion of the Draft General Policy of City Budget (APBD), as well as capital's 2026 budget priorities (KUA PPAS) yesterday night.

There is an increase to Rp 95,351 trillion

Jakarta City Council's Banggar Chairman, Khoirudin revealed, together with the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD), they agreed on the Jakarta 2026 APBD amounting to Rp 95.351 trillion or precisely Rp 95,351,054,224,324.

"There is an increase to Rp 95,351 trillion," he expressed, Tuesday (8/12).

Revised City Budget 2025 Agreed at Rp 91.8 trillion

Khoirudin, who is also Chairman of Jakarta City Council, was grateful as the inflation rate in Jakarta is below the national average. Even, the economic growth of the capital city was recorded to be higher than the national economic growth.

Therefore, he was optimistic that the 2026 APBD would be able to improve the quality of Jakarta Government's services to residents, especially in priority sectors such as education and health.

"Despite the meeting lasted until late at night, we were happy to finally agree on the amount we would present to the residents of Jakarta," he stated.
