82 Vehicles Participate Free Emission Test at Ahmad Yani Football Field

As many as 82 vehicles participated free emission test held by South Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency at Ahmad Yani Football Field, Kebayoran Lama District.

Sub-agency's Head Section of Pollution Handling and Environment Damage, Tuty Ernawati Sapardin said the mobile emission test service is carried out in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation Number 66/2020 about Motor Vehicle Exhaust Emission Testing, targeting Operational Service Vehicles (KDO) as well as private vehicles belonging to employees and residents.

"This emission test aims to check the emission thresholds emitted by motorized vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled," she said, Friday (8/15).

Tuty detailed that the vehicles tested for emissions consisted of 29 gasoline-fueled four-wheeled vehicles, 13 diesel-fueled four-wheeled vehicles, and 40 two-wheeled vehicles.

"There was one two-wheeled vehicle that failed the emissions test and we immediately issued a warning to carry out regular routine servicing," she added.

Meanwhile, Kebayoran Lama District's Head Section of Economy and Development, Daniel appreciated and thanked the free emission test.

"Hopefully this will be a reference for vehicle owners to take good care of their vehicles so that they do not exceed the threshold and also contribute to maintaining air quality," he stated.
