Pramono Praise the Spirit of Persija Players

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung praised the incredible spirit of Persija players when hosting Malut United FC at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta, Saturday (8/23).

Hopefully, their spirit can be maintained

"Today's match was very exciting. Even though there were only 10 players and they were briefly behind, thank God Persija has extraordinary spirit. They were still able to maintain a 1-1 draw. This is incredible," he expressed, after the match.

He stated that the Persija team was enthusiastic about maintaining their undefeated record when playing at their home, JIS Stadium.

"Hopefully, their spirit can be maintained, and their achievements this season will be much better," he expressed.

He also admitted that many Malut United FC players were bought at a much higher price than Persija.

"But, if you look at the actual match, it was a draw," he explained.

He also appreciated the spirit of sportsmanship displayed by both teams during the match.

As information, the match between Persija and Malut United FC ended in a 1-1 draw.

Macan Kemayoran's team was initially behind 0-1 due to a goal by Y Sanuri in the 72nd minute. Ten minutes later, Maxwell managed to level the score for Persija.

In this match, Persija had to play with 10 players after one of its players, R Fahmi, received a red card from the referee.
