Assistances Distributed to Kebon Nanas Fire Survivors

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and local Indonesian Red Cross has distributed assistances for fire survivors on Jalan Kebon Nanas Selatan 1, RT 12/08, Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village, Jatinegara District.

Acting Head of East Jakarta Social Sub-agency, Suprapto said the aid distributed last night was 50 boxes of ready-to-eat food and 10 boxes of mineral water.

"This ready-to-eat food aid will be provided for the next three days. However, it can be extended if needed," he said, Monday (8/25).

Fire in Cibubur Burns Resident House, No Casualties Reported

Suprapto explained that since yesterday afternoon, they had also set up tents as a refugee camp for residents located not far from the fire location.

"The fire burned four houses lived by six families or 22 people," he explained.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta PMI Head Section of Public Relation and Communication, Agus Bastian, stated his side has distributed six packages of staple food and six blankets.

"We also provide assistance according to the needs and requests of the urban village. We hope this assistance will ease the burden on fire survivors," he stated.
