Sidewalks on Jalan Syeh Nawawi Al Bantani Being Revitalized

The Cilincing Sub-district Infrastructure Implementation Unit in North Jakarta is revilizing the sidewalks on Jalan Syeh Nawawi Al Bantani, Semper Barat Urban Village.

Hopefully, the sidewalks can further provide comfort and safety for residents

This work is started on August 15, 2025, and is targeted to be completed in the upcoming September 2025.

Cilincing Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Hartanto said, this new sidewalk revitalization is a follow-up to the request from the local urban village office in a bid to organize the area and provide comfort for pedestrians or public transportation users.

Sidewalks Revitalization on Three Road Segments in South Jakarta Finally Completed

"We revitalize a 200-meter-long sidewalk with 1.2 meters wide. We send 10 personnel at the site every day," he expressed, Tuesday (8/26).

He explained, the road previously had a sidewalk, but it had been damaged for a long time and was overgrown with weeds. The revitalization focuses from in front of PT Superkrane Mitra Utama to PT Justus Sakti Raya.

"This work begins with the installation of approximately 350 units of concrete blocks, which are then poured to ensure durability and strength," he explained.

He hoped that this could be finished on time and was not hindered by the weather because it has been raining frequently lately.

"Hopefully, the sidewalks can further provide comfort and safety for residents, especially pedestrians," he hoped.

Aside that, Semper Barat Urban Village Head, Sukarmin asked the Sub-division Head of Cilincing Sub-district Bina Marga to revitalize the sidewalk on Jalan Raya Syeh Nawawi Al Bantani.

"This project is a further step to improve safety, comfort, and aesthetics along that road corridor," he explained.

Even, this revitalization received appreciation from one of the locals, Latifah (38).

"Very good, residents can feel increasingly comfortable knowing that many big vehicles are passing by," she stated.
