"The cooking oil is usually sold at Rp 17,000 per liter. Hopefully this market operation can be held routinely," she said, Wednesday (8/28).

Chairwoman of Merah Putih Sunter Agung Cooperative, Nurus Shobah, explained this market operation was held to assist residents since the cooking oil price is still relatively high.

"Today is the second program. Previously, it was held in early August," she explained.

According to her, 100 boxes of Minyakita, equivalent to 1,200 liters, were provided during the program today. Each resident is limited to a maximum of six liters.

"As planned before, the program will be held twice a month," she added.

Meanwhile, North Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency's Head Section of Cooperative and MSMEs, Andri, explained Sunter Agung Urban Village is the first area to run Merah Putih Cooperative program.

"I appreciate the urban village and cooperative management who support the Merah Putih Cooperative activity. Hopefully this can be run continually," he said.
